Kodikkai and Kutthukai are our two varieties of traditional groundnuts. Kodikkai variety has less fat content compared to Kutthukaai. But in market, there are so many hybrid varieties available from different states of India.

We get groundnut oil and coconut oil from Arun. The oils are extracted using stone pressed chekku machine (pestle is made by wood and base is stone).

Arun from Namakkal cultivates the Kodikkai variety of groundnuts in an organic way. Being an IT professional, he dedicated his time completely for sustainable living for past 10 years. Coconuts and Groundnuts are the main products from his own farm.
